On January 31st, 2010 at 2:45 PM, Adam was driving his Land Rover Discovery on Lake Koshkonong, searching for an exit, when he hit a soft patch of ice and fell through into the frigid water. Trapped inside while the vehicle quickly began to sink, Adam calmly and quickly looked for ways to escape the doomed vehicle. He finally exited the SUV by breaking out the rear window and made his way back to shore as he watched his prized Land Rover Discovery sink to its resting place at the bottom of the ice covered lake. Luckily, Adam is in good health and good spirits; however, his insurance will not cover the incident.

Due to extensive water damage, Adam's Land Rover will most likely never see the road again. With much help from friends, family, and work associates, his vehicle has been recovered from Lake Koshkonong and a salvage operation has commenced.
